Year Group Expectations

Year Group Expectations

With the new National Curriculum, the Department for Education has produced new expectations for the end of each curriculum year. These replace the old system of levels e.g. Level 4 and provide parents with a clear idea of what the children should be achieving at the end of the year.

Below you will find the expectations for Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in English and Mathematics and the expectations for Science.

At Tithe Barn Primary School use a wide variety of online platforms to support pupil development and provide continued learning at home. We also use a variety of resources in school to ensure we have a varied curriculum and encourage deep learning and mastery. For example
